I am so excited that our 7th and 8th grade classes get to see this exhibit in two weeks! The Portland Art Museum has an amazing exhibition right now with LAIKA studios. There are props and puppets from all four of their stop motion animated movies. There are sets and concept art as well. They have the largest stop motion puppet ever made on display and the smallest, both from Kubo and the Two Strings. I had the opportunity to attend a lecture by one of the LAIKA communication directors at the museum and learned a lot about the whole stop motion process. It is intricate and amazing! Check out the museum, which is up now until May 20th, 2018.
