In 4th grade we have been integrating a lot of science with our camouflage project! Students discussed animal adaptations, specifically highlighting different types of camouflage. We talked about how both predator and prey use camouflage for opposite reasons. Students then chose an animal that demonstrates camouflage in some way and painted a zoomed-in painting of that animal. The final step was to camouflage their own hand into their work and take a picture.
